Our client, a top-tier global investment bank, seeks a Vice President for their Bank Testing Team, part of their Compliance Testing Group. The Compliance Testing Group is responsible for testing and reviewing the effectiveness of policies and procedures, pursuant to regulatory requirements.
The Bank Testing Team member will work closely with compliance and business management, and gain an excellent understanding of both the Bank’s businesses and the rules and regulations under which the Bank operates.
Principal Responsibilities
• Create detailed testing work programs to ensure compliance with rules, regulations and firm policies.
• Conduct all aspects of testing.
• Document work performed, findings, conclusions and corrective actions required in organized workpapers.
• Communicate findings, observations, and action items to senior compliance management.
• Monitor the implementation of action items as applicable.
Experience/Skills
• Industry knowledge and 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience at a US banking regulator, particularly the Federal Reserve, preferred.
• Banking compliance or audit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing banks and bank holding companies preferred.
• Master’s or law degree preferred.
