Develop, implement, maintain and update policies and procedures related to Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence consistent with US and Global AML requirements. Respond to possible related inquiries and clarify KYC requirements as needed Analyze new or updated regulations for impact on existing CDD/EDD policies and procedures Review and approve all CBNY KYC Forms Work with departments to implement work-flows, policies or procedures Provide AML guidance for New Account Customer Verification requirements and related matters regarding new broker-dealer and bank clients Review and amend or update compliance-related forms, training material, etc. Perform EDD reviews of all high-risk customers Assess and respond to all Prime and World-Check alerts escalated by TSU, ASG/CVT, or TFTS, as the case may be Participate in the CTOWeb project to implement automated Client Take-On application; provide AML input during the development and/or enhancement of this application. Assist with the co-ordination of AML regulatory matters as necessary Assist with risk assessment process and risk rating methodology of customers and backup lead position when needed. Provide assistance to or back up other areas within the firm's BSA/AML team as necessary Participate in special/ad-hoc requests or projects
Qualifications Up to 5 years CDD / EDD experience in the Compliance department of a similarly positioned bank or broker dealer Bachelors Degree from an accredited U.S. university Excellent writing skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Experience with Excel a plus
